ASGS Charity Art Auction

Open flame demonstrations will begin at 5:00PM and be followed by silent auctions every 30 minutes.
The live auction will start at 8:00PM.

The American Scientific Glassblowers Society (ASGS) is in Corning New York for its International Scientific Glassblowers Exposition. Founded in 1952, the ASGS is a professional, nonprofit organization of scientific glassblowers and glass suppliers. Each year the Society holds their Symposium in a different city. While seminars, workshops and technical papers and posters comprise the majority of their exposition activities, one special evening is set aside. It is on that evening that the members take off their scientific hats and put on art hats to create art work for a charity benefit complete with live demonstrations.
