Fun-Run and Walk to Benefit Homes for Our Troops

Lubbock, November 6, 2008: This Sunday, November 9, at 8:00 am, citizens will gather at the Robert H. Ewalt Student Rec Center to join the Tech Law Military Association’s Run for Freedom.

All proceeds go to benefit HOMES FOR OUR TROOPS, an organization dedicated to assisting severely injured service men and women and their immediate families by building a new home or adapting an existing home for handicapped accessibility. TLMA is hosting this race in conjunction with the Law Student Division of the American Bar Association to celebrate Veteran’s Day and raise money for wounded service men and women. The entry fee charged is whatever the participant can give to help veterans. Registration begins at 8:00am, and the race starts at 9:00am. Everyone is invited to join. Come out and serve those who serve us!
