Home for veteran being built in Elizabeth

Share

February 14, 2010

The Homes for Our Troops organization is coordinating a build for LCpl Kade Hinkhouse in Elizabeth. The organization coordinates donations of money, skills, services and materials to provide a home for a veteran who has become disabled in the line of duty. The homes, which are specially adapted for severely injured veterans are provided at no cost to the veterans.

The only Homes for Our Troops project currently active in Colorado is the one in Elizabeth for LCpl Hinkhouse. One great way for Elbert County residents as well as others in Colorado to show their support of all of our Troops is supporting the build which is still in the planning phase. To find out more information on LCpl Hinkhouse's project click here. If you aren't in a position to help with the build by swinging a hammer, or donating materials, please consider donating money. The Homes for Our Troops is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and your donation is tax deductible. You can donate money towards the project here with your credit card.

If you are an insured tradesperson and would like to donate services in kind, you can complete this form.
