Homes for Our Troops breaks ground in Elizabeth
Over the next few days, the General Contractor (GC) Aaron Lovelace of Western Classic Designs LLC (pictured left wearing green) will oversee the grading process and stake out where the home is being placed. Footers will be poured and then the slab which will be ready for the Build Brigade weekend, April 16-18. The home is being built green and will incorporate a number of energy-saving features including solar panels and a geothermal system. These as well as other features will make the home more healthy to live in and extremely energy efficient. Initial stages of construction started in earnest yesterday as the Homes for Our Troops project to build a home for LCpl Kade Hinkhouse began with groundbreaking.
