Dear Friends and Family,
 
I want to extend my deepest gratitude to you all for helping me reach my fund raising goal for Homes For Our Troops.
 
As you know, this started about 6 months ago when I learned that HFOT was building me a handicap accessible home in Columbia, MO. At first I was shocked to hear that some one cared so much to do this for me. My second thought was that I had to somehow pass this gift on to another severely injured soldier. But, I didnt know how to do that. Thankfully, I have some of the best friends and family that anyone can have.
People ask me how I raised the 100k. I tell them I didnt, my friends and family did. All I did was ask for their support, and they came through in a big way. Not just for me, but for an injured soldier they may never meet. That is truly amazing, and the best thing I can say is Thank You!
 
You might have seen from HFOTs website that they have taken on many more projects. The need for these adapted homes is great, because there are serious injured soldiers arriving at Walter Reed every week. I dont know if HFOT will identify a specific project that all of our donation will go to, but I think we can look at the map of homes they are working on and know that we helped HFOT build those homes.
 
If you have seen me at home in Missouri trying to get around in any home then you know how important a handicap accessible home is to a severely injured veteran, many of which are hurt much more than me. So, thank you for helping me reach my goal, thank you for wanting to help someone else, and thank you to Homes For Our Troops for taking care of soldiers. I am eternally grateful!
