Please support the troops though my hike.

Hero Hikers is a group of hikers trying to support our Heroes, we don't claim to be the heroes here.

I've lost some friends in the last few years to conflict, I think about them every day. They have paid the ultimate price for me and I am thankful to them every day.

Some of the people I have served with are making it home from Iraq and Afghanistan with serious injuries these days because modern medicine is saving lives that would probably have been lost in past conflicts. But these Heroes have to live with the sever injuries every day for the rest of their lives.

I feel we owe it to these folks to do something, and Government shouldn't be the only way that happens. People like you and me should express our thanks by doing more than paying our taxes and letting it end at that.

I hope that my hike can do something to help these Heroes. Please help, anything you can do to help is going to be greatly appreciated. My personal Goal is $2,000 and the Team goal is $40,000. Help us beat that goal.

I will be hiking the second leg of the hike

I'll be starting at Winding Stair Gap near Franklin, NC on April 2nd. I will be finishing approximately 100 miles north at Newfound Gap in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.
