Mission

I recently accepted the challenge to join Team Homes for Our Troops to raise funds, train, and participate in the Marine Corps Marathon on October 28, 2012. All funds that I raise will support Homes for Our Troops as they build specially adapted homes for our most severely injured service men and women. Homes for Our Troops builds these homes handicap accessible to enable our American Heroes to live in a home suited to their particular needs allowing the veteran to transition back into their lives and home after they have returned from war. They do all of this at no cost to the veteran!

Since Homes for Our Troops' inception in 2004, they have completed building 100 homes and have started a new campaign to build 100 More Homes for Our Troops. This effort is estimated to take 3 years and 40 million dollars.
