Cactus Moser, husband of Wynonna Judd and drummer in her band The Big Noise, was involved in a serious motorcycle accident in South Dakota on August 18, 2012.
From Wynonna: "Cactus continues to improve every day as he begins his road to rehabilitation. We are looking forward to the day when we will be back together on stage again and I believe we will be stronger than ever."
In lieu of flowers, gifts and cards, Cactus has asked family, friends and fans to donate to Homes for Our Troops through this website. He would like to thank everyone around the world for the continued love and support.

Blessings Cactus! This morning I saw this man who was also in a motorcycle accident who lost part of his right leg. He was involved in research with a new bionic leg. He was missing his right leg just above the knee. It was new technology from the "Center For Bionic Medicine." This new bionic leg moved with the body guiding it, instead of the typical stiff non-moving or responding prothesis. I immediately thought you should see it.
One of the Doctors involved in this research was, "Levi Hargrove." You can watch the video here; http://news.yahoo.com/video/man-bionic-leg-climb-chicago-185209917.html It is amazing technology and truly miraculous! A great blessing for all who can benefit from it. I send you God's blessings today and to beautiful Wynonna (God is your Father!) From Niwot Colorado Kimberly Ballard |

From your appearances on the OWN show that Wynonna & her mother had, you seem to be a charming man with a lovely spirit and a mom who loves you very much. I hope she is able to be with as well during this difficult time. When I read of your accident I was horrified as I believe we all fear, even if unconsciously, that something terrible, unexpected and life altering will happen to us from out of the blue. Something that changes everything in the span of a minute or less. What I wanted to tell you is that what has happenned to you is worthy of your mourning. It is wonderful that so many who love and support you and your family have sent messages of hope and I too believe you will rise above this and that you will walk over this hill, through these flames and come out the other side. It will be a long and painful journey, but it will be one that ends. You have the love and prayers of your family and friends and those around the world who, like my family, do not know you but only hope and pray that going forward there can be only good things for ahead for you. I wish for you a speedy, as pain free as possible recovery. I also wish for you the wisdom to know that what you have lost is tremendous and worthy of your mourning. It is not the end of your life, it is but a chapter in your life story. Take a moment to say goodbye so that you can welcome what comes next. As a favorite of mine says: "Be still and know that I am God." Wishing you a moment to be still, and then the strength to move forward. May god bless you and keep you in the palm of your hand. May all the women in your life be as spectacular as your wife.

Don't know ya, I have seen you around. I ride and have for years. This is a horrible accident and I wish for you the quickest recovery. Your spirit on stage is exuberant and if you use that same strength in your recovery there is no limit to what you can do. Hope to see you soon.

I just heard about your accident today. I had the pleasure of seeing Wynonna in Wisconsin Dells last year - her faith came through the performance loud and clear. I hope that faith is carrying you both as you recover from the accident. I'm not a big fan of reality tv, but I did enjoy seeing some bits and pieces of your courtship. It's wonderful that your relationship has given you both a second chance. Blessings.

Hey Bud,
Been thinking about you a lot since this happened. I sent you a txt, but I imagine your phone is blown up with calls, txts. Tammy told me about this site. I know you've got good support from Wy and your kids, and that you'll end up stronger through all this. We deal the cards we are dealt in life, and you'll know how to win this hand I am sure. Keeping you in our prayers.BJ |

Blessings Cactus!
Sending you love and hugs again from Niwot Colorado! Praying for you always. I hope someone brought you a nice new pair of Vic Firth's, so you can keep your mind on your music! Some K Zildjians would be nice too, just so you can make some beautiful noise! God bless you today and strengthen you! Psalm 28:6-9 Blessed be the LORD, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications. The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him. The LORD is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed. Save thy people, and bless thine inheritance: feed them also, and lift them up for ever. So blessed to hear that the lovely Wynonna is taking good care of you. I just wanted to send you a happy message today. With many blessings and prayers for immediate restoration! your percussion friend, Kimberly Ballard |

Cactus--This is a great cause, and I am happy to be able to donate in your honor. You and Wynonna and your entire family are in my prayers, and I hope your recovery is smooth and swift on most days (you know there are going to be those days when nothing goes right, and I hope they are few!)
Much love from the Juddheads/Wynuts out here cheering you on, and we hope to see you with The Big Noise again really soon! God bless you! |

I was so sorry to hear of your accident, Mr. Moser, even more so because you had just gotten married, and you and Wynonna deserve all happiness.
Everything I have heard about Wynonna has been positive - she's warm and friendly to fans, stops to sign autographs, doesn't put on airs, has raised two great kids, and is incredibly generous to her family and friends. Not to mention massively talented. I hope this will bring the two of you closer together, and I also hope that it's not too much of a shock to go through something like this. I know you will probably mourn the loss of your leg, but I hope maybe you have been watching the Paralympics, and drawing inspiration from how full a life an amputee can live these days with the amazing advances in prosthetics. Looking forward to seeing you both back on stage in the future. And on your motorcycles - only this time keep an eye on the road, and be sure to wear a helmet! |

Cactus, I attended the 1st concert Wynonna performed since your accident at Leelanau Sands Casino, MI. I pray for your fast recovery and look forward to seeing you on the stage with Wynonna in the future. I wanted to share with you how strong of a woman you married. She took the strength of your love and the faith in God to get up there and put on an awesome show, even though her heart was breaking without you there!!! Kuddos to both of you!!! As a RN that works for the VA system at Cadillac and Traverse City, MI and the wife and daughter of veterans, I want to say thank you for your thoughtful donation to Homes For Our Troops! God Bless, we are all behind you.

Excellent choice of sharing and aiding with our country's heroes who have experienced similar injuries.
The Bible addreses 3 virtures (gifts) which are "Faith, Hope, and Love"! "Love" is considered the greatest. Well, guess what? I believe you have all 3 U r surround with those who believe and give u constant support and love. They will manage the external things; u concentrate on u! Therefore, don't let self-doubt seep into ur soul which would hamper ur recovering process. I strongely believe that the inner person (their Heart and Soul) is 1's true beauty; certaintly not the outer person which this world believes is. Be the Champ you really are! Wish yall the best! Keep smiling! Take care and God bless, |

We pray for you every day and know that with God's help you will be stronger than ever before. It was great hearing your voice at Wy's concert in Michigan on Aug. 30th. We know it was hard for her being there and performing without you. Just know that she did a wonderful job and we all loved the concert.
